In Room Safeguarding
Safeguarding training meets the criteria within the EYFS Annexe C requirements, including:
- What is meant by the term safeguarding.
- The main categories of abuse, harm and neglect.
- The factors, situations and actions that could lead or contribute to abuse, harm or neglect.
- How to work in ways that safeguard children from abuse, harm and neglect.
- How to identify signs of possible abuse, harm and neglect at the earliest opportunity.
- How to respond, record and effectively refer concerns or allegations related to safeguarding in a timely and appropriate way.
- Legislation, national policies, codes of conduct and professional practice in relation to safeguarding.
- Roles and responsibilities of practitioners and other relevant professionals involved in safeguarding
Training is CPD certified, and a certificate of completion will be provided to each participant.
Virtual Safeguarding
Our preference is to train face-to-face; we believe it is the best way to add the personal touch to our training. However, we understand this isn’t always possible or practical and for those times we offer in person training via Teams, as well as a pay per view course.
- Face to face 4-hour training session delivered within your own setting: £50 per person Minimum spend £500
- Online in person 3 hour training session delivered via Teams: £30 per person
- Pay per view webinars delivered over 3 modules: £20 per person
