This qualification is designed for learners who are currently employed in or interested in pursuing a career in childcare for children from birth to 5 years.
It aims to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to work as Early Years Educators, enabling them to effectively engage with children from birth to 5 years while also gaining insight into the developmental stages of children aged 5 to 7 years.
Through this program, learners will develop the competencies required to support the development of children from birth to 5 years old while also understanding the typical progression of children aged 5 to 7 years.
Entry Requirements
- You will need to be working or volunteering in a school or early years setting for a minimum of 16 hours per week for the duration of the course.
- You will need to have an enhanced DBS check prior to beginning the course to ensure you are eligible to work with children and young people.
- You must have or be working towards a Level 2 or an equivalent qualification in English. You must have a good standard of spoken and written English.
How Much Does It Cost?
There are two payment methods available for this course:
- Payment in full – £1,850
- £500 initial payment, followed by 12 monthly instalments of £125.00 (total cost £2000)
