This qualification aims to equip learners with knowledge and insight into the development and care of babies and young children aged from birth to 7 years.
It specifically emphasises practical knowledge applicable to the early years, from birth to 5 years old.
The content of this qualification is in accordance with the Level 2 criteria set by the Department for Education, ensuring that individuals completing it meet the standards required to work as Early Years Practitioners.
Entry Requirements:
- You will need to be working or volunteering in a school or early years setting for a minimum of 6 hours per week for the duration of the course.
- You must have or be working towards at least Level 1 or an equivalent qualification in English. You must have a good standard of spoken and written English.
- You will need to have an enhanced DBS check prior to beginning the course to ensure you are eligible to work with children and young people.
How Much does it Cost?
There are two payment methods available for this course:
- Payment in full – £1,490
- £500 initial payment, followed by 12 monthly instalments of £95.00 (total cost £1,640)
