Welcome to Little Weavers. We are a bespoke, small group of 2 nurseries owned by mother and daughter, Lisa and Natasha Kirkwood.

Just a stones throw away from the vibrant Cheshire suburb of Northwich, you’ll find our unique and homely setting. Little Weavers has a large, enclosed garden to the rear which is safe and secure and a space where we can nurture children’s love for the outdoors.

Our Features

Little Weavers Day Nursery offers a wide range of both structured and free play experiences and activities all based on the accepted principle of learning through play. The day is organised into two curriculum-based sessions (am and pm) which provides children with the opportunity to participate, regardless of whether they have a full or part-time place.

Teaching Phonics

We teach phonics to ensure children understanding the spoken language.

Learn Through Play

Our children learn through play-based activities from exploring the weather by jumping in muddy puddles to designing the tallest tower in our construction area.

Use Of Real Resources

We provide lots of real resources for children to explore and play with and our little ones often bring exciting and intriguing items in from their weekend adventures to talk about at circle times.

EYFS Learning

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is the framework that guides the care and education for children from the age of 0 to the end of their 5th year.

Regular Parents Evenings

We hold regular parents evenings to discuss children’s progress and have an open-door policy so parents can speak to staff or management at any time.

Great Outdoor Area

We are particularly passionate about the children enjoying the outdoors and are lucky enough to have a lovely play area and garden where they can grow fruit and vegetables, get messy in our mud kitchen or bring out the bikes and prepare for the Tour de France!

The baby room has been outstanding for my little one. The staff always took the time to speak to me in the morning and afternoon and really went the extra mile fir my little girl. I could tell how loved she was and how looked after which was very reassuring. She also has grown so much in 6 months. This was a perfect place and I loved how homely and inviting it is.

My little girl has been going here twice a week since September 2018. She has come on leaps and bounds and I know she is safe and is really well looked after. The staff are all friendly and so great with the children and care about what they do. It’s like a home from home environment which was important to us.

I was so scared to leave her at first and then so sad and nervous to be having to change her nursery, due to moving out of the area. Can not recommend enough great for babies and parents.
