Welcome to Our Toddler Room

Our Hygge-inspired, home from-home approach creates a warm, welcoming environment that nurtures a sense of belonging and comfort. Children thrive in cozy, calming spaces and benefit from a large, secure out door learning area—a hidden gem with a purpose-built classroom and a gardening space where they help grow flowers, fruits, and vegetables. Indoors, all children can enjoy a sensory room that enriches their development, alongside their carefully planned and resourced rooms. We provide high-quality meals and snacks, including a comprehensive two-course hot lunch and evening meal. With our owner’s expertise as a health visitor and children’s nurse, families also have access to health visitor advice and strong links to local health services, ensuring holistic support for each child’s well-being.

Toddler room: 2-3 years old

Our Toddler Room is rich in resources, offering varied opportunities for exploration and

learning that promote independence, language development, and social interaction. Activities

are carefully planned to meet individual developmental needs, with staff fostering positive

behaviour and creating a supportive environment that encourages toddlers to develop self–

care and social skills.

We focus on encouraging independence and the development of friendships among toddlers. Our environment is structured to support your child in building confidence, making choices, and forming positive relationships with their peers.

What makes our toddler room special?

Spacious Play Areas:

Our room is divided into various activity zones, including role play, sand and water, a book corner, art and craft, construction, small world, and puzzles. Each area is thoughtfully designed to encourage creativity and development.

Cosy Circle Time:

We have a dedicated cosy circle time area where toddlers can gather to read stories, sing nursery rhymes, and share their own home stories, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Indoor and Outdoor Access:

Children have the freedom to move between our well-equipped indoor space and our safe, stimulating outdoor area, promoting physical activity and a connection with nature.
