THE NURSERY WILL BE CLOSED ON ALL BANK HOLIDAYS.

March Events 2025

On Monday, 3rd March, we will be celebrating World Wildlife Day. Throughout the day, we will explore various wildlife and engage in different activities, including a trip to the flower garden in search of local creatures.

On Tuesday, 4th March, it’s Pancake Day! The children will have the chance to make delicious pancakes to enjoy for dessert.

From Wednesday to Thursday, 5th and 6th March, we will hold our annual celebration of books and reading, with WORLD BOOK DAY! To mark the occasion, children are encouraged to bring in their favourite books to share and read with their friends.

The week of 10th to 16th March is Science Week. During this time, the children will participate in a variety of experiments and we will be hosting a rocket competion there will be a winner from each room all rockets to be in by the 16th.

Friday 14th march, is the celebration of holi the children can come in their colourful outfits ready to celebrate outside with the chalks and paint.

On Monday, 17th March, we will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by encouraging everyone to wear something green.

On Thursday, 20th March, we will focus on frogs with various activities centred around these fascinating creatures.

Friday 21st comic relief is crazy hair day and donating a pound to the charity

Finally, on Friday, 28th March, we will celebrate Mother’s Day. Children are invited to come in their pyjamas as we enjoy a relaxing spa day together.

February Events 2025

15-31st – Throughout the whole month, there will be a drawing festival. The children will have a great time creating and leaving their marks on various types of pictures. There will be a competition in each room for the best drawing.

1st – is national vegetarian day, the children will be making a delicious treat a vegetarian sausage roll.

4th – is national smile day, we will be doing kind gestures around the nursery to our peers and asking the older children what makes them smile.

14th-18th – we will be learning and exploring pumpkins, the children will get to scoop out the pumpkins ready to display outside nursery
and help prepare some delicious pumpkin soup.

21st – apple day, the children will be able to create lots of fun things with our apples including taste testing the differences between a green and red apple, apple painting and lots of apple crafts.

31st – Halloween day, children can comeinto nursery dressed up, we will be playing lots of spooky games and having a little party

Funded children term dates

Please note these dates may be subject to change in line with funding offered by the Local Authority. We are closed on all bank holidays. These may be given at the end of the term – please speak to a member of management for more details.

We offer:
Universal 3 Year 15 and 30 Hours Funding For Eligible Families – Providing flexibility for working families The nursery currently only offers this over 51 or 48 weeks of the year. That means that children who are claiming this will be entitled to 22 hours free childcare every week of the year. The Local Authority will allow children to take a maximum of 2 weeks holiday per term. Please inform staff of any dates your child won’t be attending.

My son started at Kinder Giggles at the age of 2, his speech and language was little to none, he just babbled and made noises, he never made eye contact or took part in any activities or playtimes at home, he was very independent avoided other children. I had been having regular meetings with Community Education Nurses about my son's development and it was agreed between them and other professionals that he had regressed a lot and his development was quite far behind.
Now Age 3 (turning 4 in June), his speech and language has come on in leaps and bounds, he LOVES playtimes and the company of other children, he's the most loving little boy and shows so much affection. Kinder Giggles has had the most amazing and massive impact on him and his development and I couldn't thank all the staff enough for their support for my son and myself, they have gone above and beyond for him and our family. I will be sad when my son leaves but always grateful for Kinder Giggles and their support.

Outstanding nursery I was very worried about leaving my little boy me and my son had separation anxiety's but all my worries disappeared as did my sons the home from home environment is very clear from the get go. The space and facilities the staff have provided for the children is amazing lots of room lots to do and they always provide us with equipment if we don't have it. They have a beautiful sensory room and senco trained staff on sight. They have positive routines and boundaries for the children and they promote healthy eating healthy relationships and are always looking off ways to improve. They have been nothing but supportive of me and my son and I've never been to a nursery like this. They are kind comforting and they truly care about the children and their futures. The staff are all amazing and I'm so glad I chose this particular nursery for my son I never thought I'd be this happy and comfortable leaving my little boy I appreciate each and everyone of you.
