Government Funding
Government Funding
Funding Policy
We offer funded places for 2-, 3- and 4-year-olds.
To check availability please get in touch with the office to express your interest and we will get back in touch with you via email.
Whilst the Government funding is structured for 38 weeks of the year (term time), our places are for 51 weeks of the year and so the funded hours are stretched over the 51 weeks that we are open. Applied over 51 weeks, the funding equates to 11.18 hours per week. The same principle applies for the 30 hour funding.
Parents can assess their eligibility for funding and the application process by visiting the Government Childcare Choices website.

Tax- Free Childcare
Tax-Free Childcare is a UK-wide scheme to help working parents pay for childcare. Parents can open an online childcare account, which they will use to pay for their childcare directly. For every £8 a parent pays in, the government will pay in an extra £2. Parents can receive up to £2,000 per child, per year, towards their childcare costs, or £4,000 for disabled children – separate from funded entitlements. The offer will be available for children up to the age of 12, or 17 for children who are disabled. To qualify, both parents will have to be in work, and each expecting to earn at least £115 a week – and not more than £100,000 each year.
