Our son loves the nursery and has been there since he was 7months old. There are so many people of the staff that he loves and he is always happy to go to nursery. There were some moments where staff changed a bit too frequently and the chef was gone, but that appears to be solved now.

Nordic Star is an exceptional nursery for children! My son enrolled a year ago, and the transformation has been remarkable. The staff are not only professional but also incredibly warm and caring.

One of the highlights is their diverse range of activities. The children enjoy walks in the park, visits to the library, and even trips to the theatre, providing a rich and stimulating environment for learning and exploration.

I've noticed a significant increase in my son's independence since he started at Nordic Star. As a mother, nothing brings me more joy than seeing his beaming smile every time he returns home from the nursery. It's a clear indication that he's happy and thriving in their care.

The staff's attentiveness and support are commendable. They're always open to addressing any concerns parents might have, offering helpful solutions and maintaining excellent communication.

We wholeheartedly recommend Nordic Star to all parents who wish to see their children not only develop crucial skills but also genuinely enjoy their early learning experience. It's a place where children can grow, learn, and most importantly, be happy.

We visited many nurseries in the area before deciding on Nordic Star for our one year old who is now three and thriving with the fun and supportive atmosphere of the teachers and management team. Nordic Star was a new nursery at the time we started with them and their attitude and excitement to learn and grow alongside the children that started with them has always been appreciated. They are supportive if you ever have concerns and always have aimed to be flexible, accommodating half days, any additional/different hours needed, nap times, and more. You can tell that the management and staff genuinely love working with young children and I think this is indicative of their recruitment process. They don’t have an outdoor area, but take the children out daily (or twice daily) to the park, canal, library, etc. and bring in many different speciality teachers each week (ballet, music, yoga, etc.). They have a lovely approach to teaching about emotions and how to navigate them and manage things like teaching about turn taking and boundaries really well. We’ve learned some great phrases from our child over the past couple of years. :) They are happy for parents to be involved in things like story time and sharing their culture with the children and I love the exposure our child has had to learning about other families, cultures and religions. We will miss Nordic Star very much when it comes time to start big school!

Our experience at Nordic Atar has been wonderful. Our son has been very happy there and has always received lots of love and care from all practitioners and other staff. They have always guided our son’s development against his own milestones in the most lovely and fun way. Communication has always been good with parents and whenever there is a concern, management has taken our words seriously and have made amends where necessary.

My child attended this nursery from 7 months to 20 months. There were multiple occasions when I noticed that my child's nappy had not been changed. I knew this because the nursery uses specific nappies, and when I checked, her nappy was full of wee and poo. Also, the nursery staff members changed so often, and it seemed to be short-staffed. Additionally, the chef who prepared the children’s meals left, and the children were fed food that was made outside and didn't taste nice. Despite being promised photos of my child at the nursery on a USB stick, I never received them when I decided to leave. I still appreciate everything they have done for my child, but I guess this is a new nursery and the management side was not the best.
