Starting nursery is an important step for both babies and families. At YMCA Jumpers! Nursery, we focus on helping babies develop confidence, curiosity, and strong connections with both staff and peers in a warm, supportive environment.
Our qualified and caring team provides individual attention for every baby. We support feeding, naptimes, and settling routines while encouraging early communication and interaction. This helps babies feel secure and builds trust, which is essential for healthy emotional development.
The baby room is designed to promote engagement and learning. Sensory activities, gentle music, and soft toys encourage exploration, coordination, and discovery. Babies are encouraged to move, touch, and experiment in a safe and stimulating space.
Outdoor play is incorporated every day. Babies experience fresh air, nature, and space to crawl and move freely. Outdoor activities support physical development, coordination, and sensory exploration while helping babies feel connected to the world around them.
Inside, our soft play studio allows babies to develop motor skills in a safe, structured environment. Climbing, crawling, and balancing activities are tailored to each child’s abilities and progress, supporting confidence and independence.
Partnership with parents is central to our approach. Staff provide regular updates and guidance to ensure a consistent experience between home and nursery. This collaborative approach helps babies feel secure while allowing parents to be involved in their early learning journey.
YMCA Jumpers! Nursery provides a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where babies can grow, explore, and build confidence from day one. Every detail of our baby room is designed to help little ones thrive.
