Early Years Educator/Practitioner (Level 3/2)
- Full time or Part Time
- Requirements: NVQ Level 3 qualified or Level 2 working towards Level 3
- Salary: starting from £10.50 per hour depending upon experience and qualifications

If you do, then you could be just the person we’re looking for. The successful applicant will: Take on many different roles according to the interests of their key children. This might be dinosaur hunter, story teller, or scientist. Most importantly, we’d really like you to have a great personality. Our shifts are 10 hours across 4 days. We will consider applicants for part time positions, however the shift patterns will be in accordance with the needs of the setting.
You will have responsibility for key children ensuring that their development needs are being met through their interests and curiosity. You will also be communicating to parents about their child’s development and answering any questions they may have. A sound knowledge of the EYFS and some nursery experience is essential. We are particularly looking for experience with toddlers aged 1-3.
We offer a comprehensive induction scheme and training will be given. The successful candidate will also have access to online CPD training through Noodlenow and access to Paediatric First Aid training. A current paediatric first aid certificate is desirable, but training will be arranged for the successful applicant if required.
The successful candidate will be offered above minimum wage, a company pension scheme, reduced childcare costs where applicable, and onsite parking. The successful applicant will receive 5.6 weeks holiday per year, plus additional bonus days where the relevant criteria are met.
This position is subject to the successful applicant having a clear enhanced DBS and willing to join the update service, as safeguarding is our top priority.

Experience: Childcare: 1 year (preferred) Level 2/3 or equivalent in Childcare or Early Years (mandatory).
Candidates with full and relevant Early Years Educator or Early Years Practitioner qualifications are warmly welcomed. Level 2 candidates are offered the opportunity to study for the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification with our training rovider, which will be fully funded.
