About us
Busy Bears Nursery has been providing childcare and education to children in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham since 2010. The setting was acquired in 2018 by QCE Nurseries.
Busy Bears Nursery caters for 48 children aged 3 months to 5 years and is perfectly located for local families in Kings’ Heath, Moseley and Stirchley, with direct access into Birmingham City Centre.
The setting is over two floors, providing dedicated space for the children to explore and investigate, with three rooms creating a lovely home-away-from-home feel.
Busy Bears Nursery caters for 48 children aged 3 months to 5 years and is perfectly located for local families in Kings’ Heath, Moseley and Stirchley, with direct access into Birmingham City Centre.
The setting is over two floors, providing dedicated space for the children to explore and investigate, with three rooms creating a lovely home-away-from-home feel.
All children enjoy daily Yoga and Forest School sessions, along with weekly cooking experiences, with the aim of promoting self-regulation and teaching life skills they will take with them into adulthood. Our pre-school children also practise sewing and knitting skills during 1:1 sessions with experienced members of the team.
We have a purpose-built woodworking area, art studio, and library, as well as an on-site Forest School for children to enjoy whenever they like. All our children have daily access to our garden, including a smaller gated area that provides free-flow access for our toddler room and our under-1s. The outdoor space provides a dedicated area for our babies and for our older children to explore, dig, investigate and take part in physical experiences. We explore the outdoor world all year round, enabling children to see and learn about the changing seasons.
Gardening, Expressive Arts, Forest School, and our Healthy Me curriculum are just a few of the things we offer at Busy Bears.
