This week, our little bakers rolled up their sleeves to make chocolate cupcakes for a Macmillan Cancer fundraiser. With our word of the week being favourite, and our song of the week “Chocolate Cake” (because who doesn’t love chocolate cake?), it felt like the perfect way to mix learning with deliciousness.
Using just self-raising flour, cocoa, golden caster sugar, unsalted butter and eggs, the children measured, mixed and made magic happen, all while building confidence, early maths and fine motor skills.
