We encourage the children to have the choice of indoors and out. Our nurseries all have extensive, yet often muddy, and well-used outdoor areas. Children can safely nourish and push their sense of adventure, encouraging risk in play, which is crucial for confidence and decision-making. Carefully designed indoors areas are for different activities, or just to relax and snuggle in a cosy, homely environment.

"Little Flyers Broxburn has been a brilliant nursery for both of my children. My eldest, 3, has just moved to the preschool room and has been welcomed with open arms, thoughtful measures put in place for her transition. She visits the toddler room on her way in and out to say hi to her old key worker who has just been brilliant with her. My youngest goes in with smiles and leaves with smiles, and it really eases the ache of leaving them to go to work. I cannot praise them enough!"

Being a first time mum, I was so anxious about going back to work and leaving my little one in nursery but the staff really made this experience the best it could be through daily updates on the app and effective handovers. He has built such great bonds with the staff in the short while he’s been there and gives them such great smiles when being dropped off. He gets to explore so many fun activities throughout the day while I get to go back to work and overall has been a great experience so far.

Great nursery, my little one has lots of fun daily. Great facilities with plenty of outdoor play when weather is suitable, they do external activities and community engagement as well. The include the parents, and have multiple opportunities to get involved as a parent. The staff are attentive and caring towards the kids, and work hard in developing the young learners.

Our daughter absolutely loves going each day, and it’s been amazing to see how much she’s grown in confidence and independence since starting. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely care about the children. One of the things we appreciate most is the variety of activities they offer. She especially loves the outdoor play! As parents of a child with allergies, we’ve also felt reassured by the way the nursery handles her dietary needs. They are extremely careful and communicative, and we’ve never had to worry about her safety. We’re so grateful to the team at Little Flyers for creating such a nurturing and stimulating environment. Highly recommend! Great nursery with amazing staff. My son is currently at Little Flyers and he loves it especially the outdoor classroom. Previously my daughter has attended and has great memories from her time there. The recent scores for the care inspector report doesn't come as a surprise! But the transition has been really smooth, the staff are all lovely and warm, the garden is amazing. The welcoming atmosphere greets your from the bustling garden each morning, where the staff are setting up exciting play stations for the kids.
