Monthly fees:
We charge for the actual number of days a child is booked into the setting each month. ‘Nursery in a Box’ has been commissioned to oversee the administration of monthly invoices. Each parent will be issued with a unique log in and can see their invoices online. Invoices are available 15 days in advance of the direct debit being deducted from your account.

Payment terms for fees
Your child’s fees will be due in advance and must be paid by Direct Debit/Vouchers or the HMRC tax free option. Direct debits will be deducted from your account on the first day of the month for which they relate to*. This is with the exception of your first month’s fees. Payment of your child’s fees in their first month must be paid by Bank transfer. Cash will not be accepted. Childcare voucher payments will be credited to your account during the month they are received into our account. Until they are received, we cannot credit them to your account.

Sibling Discount:
If you have two or more children in the nursery, your oldest child/ren will receive a 10% discount from their monthly bill.
Absences & Holidays:
There are no refunds given for absence or holidays that you take
Bank Holidays:
As is standard practice in early years, we are closed on Bank Holidays, however these days will be charged, and you will not receive a discount for these days.
Training days:
Each year we hold two staff training days. On these days, the nursery is closed. You will be informed of these days at the start of each calendar year so that you have enough time to make alternative childcare arrangements. You will be charged for these days.
Swapping days:
You are unable to swap your regular booked sessions on a week-to-week basis. Long-term changes can be arranged if there is availability in the sessions you want to swap to. If a space is not immediately available, you can go on a waiting list to be offered a space first when one becomes available.
Christmas closure:
Every year we close the week between Christmas and New Year. Full fees are payable for this period. We also close early on Christmas Eve.
Additional charges are made for extra days used if available and for late collection of your child from the nursery. This is charged at £5 for the first 15 minutes and £15 for every 15 minutes after this time that you are late. Please note that this charge will be automatically added to your invoice for the following month.
Your booking pattern must include a Monday or Friday full day.
Fee increases
YMCA SPG reserves the right to increase the fees and will give you a month’s notice of fee increases.
