Childcare Food
We provide a variety of healthy meals and snacks. We are very keen to promote choice and independence at meal and snack times.
Healthy Childcare Meals
Lunch is also provided offering a range of choices and is a set menu but is moved on by one day each week, this allows children to still make a choice, but also offers them a balanced and nutritious diet with appropriate portions. A fee of £2.50 per hot lunch will be invoiced to you monthly should you choose this option.
At lunch time, it is considered a social event where children sit at tables together and interact using cutlery and pouring their own water, thus promoting independence. Water is provided throughout the day in a jug where children can access freely and pour their own drink into a cup. Independence is encouraged and supported throughout allowing them to collect their own cutlery and utensils, cut up their own fruit and then wash their dishes once finished. Do tell us about your child’s dietary needs and we will make sure that these are met.
