About the Role

As a Nursery Nurse, you will:

• Work as part of a dynamic team to provide high-quality education and care for children aged 0–5 years.
• Develop engaging activities to promote each child’s physical, intellectual, and emotional growth.
• Create a safe, stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and grow with confidence.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and families, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe nursery space, adhering to all health and safety policies.
• Support children in acquiring self-help skills, including dressing, feeding, and toilet training.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver flexible, high-quality childcare in compliance with EYFS standards and Ofsted regulations.
• Supervise mealtimes, ensuring they are sociable and enjoyable learning opportunities.
• Implement positive behaviour management strategies to support children’s development.
• Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery, working collaboratively with the team.
• Monitor and document children’s progress, helping them transition confidently through nursery and into school.
