Sample Routine
We like to provide lots of variety for the children including new arts and craft ideas, adult led activities and free play. We also follow EYFS so our activities are linked to support all areas of learning. Below is a sample of one of our daily routines, but it can sometimes change depending on the season, outings etc.
- 8.00am – 8.30am – Child arrives /Breakfast
- 8.30am – 9.15am – School Run
- 9.15am – 9.45am – Planned Activity
- 9.45am – 10.15am – Snack
- 10.15am – 11.00am – Free play
- 11.00am – 11.30am – Singing / Musical Movement
- 11.30am – 12.00 noon – Lunch
- 12.00am – 1.30pm – Sleep depending on age or activity
- 1.30pm – 3.00pm – Outdoor play / Park Visit
- 3.00pm – 3.30pm – School Run
- 3.30pm – 4.00pm – Planned Activity
- 4.00pm – 4.45pm – Dinner
- 5.00pm – 5.30pm – Free play / Outdoor Play / Homework Time
- 5.30pm – 6.00pm – Story time / Reading
- 6.00pm – Children picked up by parent / carer
Planned activities include:
Painting, drawing, collage, play-dough, event activities such as cards for Mothers day or Easter etc, role play, dressing up, drama, construction ie lego, building blocks, reading, writing etc
