This half term we have been finding out more about birds, colours and celebrations. We had a successful Mother’s Day craft and tea session and invited some families into Butter Hill to share our learning during a welcome week.read more

I can hardly believe we are at the halfway point of the academic year. This half term has been another busy one. We have been learning about bears, celebrating the lunar new year, sharing traditional tales and favourite stories and talking about who and what we love.read more

Even though it was a long half term, it has whizzed past. We welcomed back the existing children and settled our new friends in. We have been learning about ourselves, friends, family, diversity, autumn and October festivals. We raised money for Macmillan and some of our older children visited our grandfriends at the care home. read more

It has been a brilliant year, our busiest yet. Highlights have to be sports week; visiting our grandfriends again and all of the many end of year celebrations. We were thrilled to attain an ‘excellent’ score for interaction in an external ratings assessment again. We also secured an Early Years Quality Mark for Mill Lane and retained our Quality Mark at Butter Hill.read more
