Beside the seaside

This week we were thinking about summer by the sea. We sang lots of ocean themed songs; enjoyed ‘sea’ biscuits; counted and subtracted sea creatures, shells and boats; listened to seaside sounds and looked for sharks through telescopes like Timothy Pope. Our oldest children had a fantastic day by the sea in Brighton and the children who stayed at preschool also had lots of sensory sand and water fun.

“All three of my boys have attended Play B C Preschool, and each of them have had an amazing experience. The team at Butter Hill have become like family. My son, who is currently attending Play B C, absolutely loves it. He comes home eager to teach me sign language, yoga moves, and share what he is learning about that week. In just the past year, he’s grown into such a confident, clever child. The teachers are warm, nurturing, and the children form strong relationships. I feel completely reassured knowing that all of my son’s needs are met when he’s there. My youngest will be starting at Play B C this September, and I have every confidence that he will thrive just as his brothers did. He’s already familiarised himself with the teachers during drop-offs and pick-ups, and I can’t wait to see his journey begin. My eldest, now in primary school, still talks about his former teachers and fond memories from preschool, and he misses it dearly. I am so grateful for all that Play B C has provided over the years - setting a strong foundation for both education and social learning. Every member of the team is an absolute asset, and I couldn’t ask for a better start to my children’s educational journeys.
