As we moved into our new topic of land and sea, we had a really ‘wild’ week learning about animals.
Our word of the week was ‘roar’. Our core book was Walking Through the Jungle by Debbie Harter and our song of the week was the Jungles of Brazil. These both took us on an adventure through different habitats, meeting animals along the way and joining in with their calls, perfect for building language, sound awareness and confidence. We also used our listening skills to see if we could guess animals by their sounds.
