At Emerson Park Creative Kids we are really proud of our library. It is situated in our garden at the back of the building in our new Summer House. The children all get a chance once a week to go out to the library to look at the books and choose which one they would like to take home to read with their family. The children get a stamp on their chart every time they bring a book back and after they have collected 5 stamps they get a certificate. This encourages the children to look at books and to share them with their families at home as it is an important part of learning. We have recently added a range of books with languages from around the world that reflects what is spoken at home by some of our children. We have a variety of fictional books along with topic and factual books which are all age appropriate for all the children from the baby room right through to the pre-school.
