Emerson Park’s Annual Winter Wonderland arrived early this year. The elves were busy decorating the corridors to give a real festive feel for all the staff and children. We have added some new decorations to make sure every year is slightly different. The rooms have all put up their Christmas trees and the children have been busy carrying out lots of different Christmas and winter themed activities. This has included Biscuit decorating, colouring Christmas themed pictures, playing with fake snow, and a variety of tuff trays. We have lots more planned for the next few weeks too involving parties and Christmas jumper days. We have also had our little elves return on the 1st December, they arrived in a sleigh pulled by the duck elves. They brought with them book advent calendars, one for each room so the children get to listen to a different story each day. Sugar Plum, Buddy and Trixie have been up to mischief each night, swinging through the nursery on a zip wire and painting pictures for the children.
