What to Bring on Your Child’s First Day
A checklist of essential items to ensure children are comfortable and well-prepared. To ensure your child is comfortable and prepared, please bring the following items:
- Spare clothes – Pack extra trousers, tights, and underwear, especially if your child is potty training.
- Milk bottles – We provide bottles and sterilizers, but you’re welcome to bring your own, clearly labelled.
- Slippers or indoor shoes (optional) – Outdoor shoes aren’t worn inside. You may bring socks or soft-soled shoes with good grip.
- Dummy or comforter – If your child uses one, please provide a spare to keep at nursery for hygiene reasons.
- Prescribed medication – Must be in its original packaging with a UK pharmacy label. It should be new, sealed, and previously tried by your child. A permission form must be completed before administration.
- Water bottle & wellies (Preschool only) – These items are specific to our Preschool children.
Label everything – To avoid mix-ups, please ensure all items are clearly labeled with your child’s name.
